Geotechnical Investigations is the first step to determining the site needs for the design team to
determine the proper foundation, utility construction, pavement structures, or landscape
architecture. PRIME offers in house drilling and sampling to allow our engineers to accurately
complete the testing needed for the project. Once complete, with our full service Geotechnical
Soils lab the soil is analyzed to determine properties needed for expansive soil estimation,
bearing capacity, and fill recommendations. PRIME will provide options for soil remediation if
expansive soil is present, or means to strengthen soil should low bearing soils be encountered.

Foundation Design is critical to the success of every project. With the proper Geotechnical Information, PRIME will work with the client to provide options for foundations for the project. This will include slab on grade options including conventional or post tension waffle slabs, footing design, or suspended foundations. PRIME also specializes in deep foundation design.
